INT. ROOM – EVENING
Room is vast and empty. Nina sits on a chair next to a table. Smokes (??) She is emotionally exhausted.
NINA
(Gasps)
Nina stands up from a chair with exertion . She gazes into space. Wakes up. Checks her dress. Aligns things on the table. Takes the shoes off. Walks away
INT. STAIRCASE - EVENING
ClOSE UP feet
Nina climbs the stair.
INT. ATTIC – EVENING
Attic is full of dust, sheets hang on a clothes line. Limited light from the skylight and small window weakly pours into the attic. Nina enters the light. Silhouette moving across.
CLOSE UP hands
Nina touches the sheets while walking. Stops. She hugs herself/cradles herself. She shivers.
CLOSE UP eye
She looks through the window.
MID SHOT
Thanatos/lover appears from the darkness. He touches Nina and leads her to dance.
Light changes, becomes sharp. He pulls her. Nina resists. He dominates the dance. She struggles. She surrenders. After a while they synchronize their movements. She dances with him gladly. She makes the final step/spin. He is not there any more.
MID SHOT TO WIDE SHOT
` Camera pulls back
Nina hangs on the cloth-line. Body movement slowly calms down. Nina's body becomes still.
